The first way Antonio is shown as a tragic hero is his wisdom. He is naturally wise which can be seen in how he is able to get a job while everyone else must wait. He knows that he has to lie about having a bicycle to get the job and he does. His wisdom is also shown through the actions of his son, Bruno. Bruno is very mature for his age and this is likely the result of his father’s wisdom.

To this day, I still love to ride my bike. Now that I have a car, my bike is used more for leisurely activities and not so much travels anymore. I used to ride my bike everywhere!
